Dalton— On Friday, September 6th from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., The Stationery Factory presents The Tom Prettys. 

The Tom Prettys hails as the only all-female Tom Petty tribute band. Although they may be pretty, they also rock harder than Tom himself usually did, while still preserving the timeless essence of Tom Petty’s iconic songs. The band delivers each show with an energy and passion that leaves audiences shouting for more.

Pittsfield— On Saturday, September 14th at 7:30 p.m., Berkshire Theatre Group presents Reelin’ in the Years, a Steely Dan tribute, at The Colonial Theatre.

Get ready to elevate your mood with the exceptional music of Steely Dan, brought to life by the world-class ensemble Reelin’ in the Years. This extraordinary band features top-tier touring and recording session musicians, all acclaimed in the music industry. Led by the renowned Jerry Marotta, a celebrated bandleader and drummer with credits including Peter Gabriel and Paul McCartney, Reelin’ in the Years masterfully delivers Steely Dan’s timeless classics with precision and passion.

The stellar lineup includes vocalists Lindsey Skeye and Joey Eppard, known for his work with the progressive band 3. Guitarists Peter Calo, who has performed with Carly Simon, and Matt Finck, who has worked with Randy Brecker, add their remarkable talents to the mix. Jennifer Maidman, renowned for her collaborations with Boy George, brings her expertise on bass, while Dr. David Jameson from Security Project/Beyond the Wall handles the keyboards. The band’s rich sound is further enhanced by a four-piece horn section featuring Jay Collins (Donald Fagen), Bill Harris (Little Feat), Chris Pasin (Buddy Rich) and Don Mikkelsen (Frank Sinatra).

The Stationery Factory presents Harvest & Rust, A Neil Young Experience

Dalton— On Saturday, September 28th from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., The Stationery Factory presents Harvest & Rust, A Neil Young Experience. 

It’s hard to represent the wide-array of Neil Young’s influential material in one show, but that’s exactly what the band Harvest & Rust does. Based in Western Massachusetts, the core members of Harvest & Rust, Matt Cahill, Andy Gordon, John Kiernan, Garrett Lechowski, and Jim Reynolds, often augment their show with other well-known local musicians to reproduce every era of Neil Young’s music.

Be it the chart-topping “Harvest” material (including “Old Man,” “Heart of Gold,” etc.) to the electric explorations of “Rust Never Sleeps” (“Hey Hey My My,” etc.,) as well as songs from Neil’s time in Crosby Stills Nash & Young and Buffalo Springfield, you’re in for a night of complete Neil. This concert will feature an all new show and and all new setlist including all of Neil’s hits.

Egremont Barn presents Dead Man’s Waltz

South Egremont— On Friday, September 6th from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Egremont Barn presents Dead Man’s Waltz. 

Interweaving the classic songs and jams of The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, and The Band, Dead Man’s Waltz (formerly Steal Your Peach) is an all-star collective from the Northeast festival scene. 

While staying true to the spirit of the music, the band members put their own dynamic spin on a vast catalog of beloved songs that are now part of the new American songbook. Their arrangements are experiments, as they easily flow from the familiar to the obscure, moving from standards like “Jessica” into Going Down The Road Feeling Bad” into “Don’t Do It” or “Up On Cripple Creek” into “They Love Each Other” into “Midnight Rider.” The band always keeps it fresh with new and unexpected arrangements and improvisations, while engaging fans in the free-spirited party and colorful community surrounding their shows.

Dead Man’s Waltz features “Rev” Tor Krautter (Rev Tor Band) on guitar and vocals, Tom Major (Entrain) on drums, Andrew Costa (Stone Revival Band) on keys, Jeremy Walz (Soul Sky) on guitar and vocals, Jeff Prescott (Rasinhead) on drums and vocals, and Brian O’Connell (Uncle Sammy, Gordon Stone Band) on bass and vocals.
