Cornwall Library presents ‘Rearranging the Furniture,’ paintings by Molly Morgan
Cornwall, Conn.— From September 7th through October 19th, the Cornwall Library presents “Rearranging the Furniture,” an exhibition of the latest abstract oil painting of artist Molly Morgan.
Molly Morgan is a psychotherapist who began making art as a way to self-reflect and process her work with psychotherapy clients. She developed a committed painting practice during the COVID lockdown. Her work explores the parallels between therapy and creating art, and her focus is on the process of making art as a tool for self-discovery and transformation. This series of paintings was inspired by a client’s observation that therapy felt like “rearranging the furniture inside.”
The exhibit runs from September 7th through October 19th at the Cornwall Library at 30 Pine Street in Cornwall, Conn. There is an opening reception on Saturday, September 7th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Registration and more information can be found online.
