Great Barrington— On Friday, November 1st at 7 p.m., Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center presents a screening of “Frankenweenie.”
Young Victor Frankenstein resurrects his beloved dog Sparky in Tim Burton’s touching homage to Mary Shelley, “Frankenweenie.” Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, and Winona Ryder provide their voices in this offbeat family film.

Ventfort Hall Gilded Age Mansion & Museum presents ‘Tales from the Graveyard,’ a tea & talk
Lenox— On Tuesday, October 29th at 5:30 p.m., Ventfort Hall Gilded Age Mansion & Museum presents “Tales from the Graveyard,” a tea & talk.
Come explore the history of rural cemeteries in America, designed as peaceful places of refuge for the dead and undead alike, and the mysterious mausoleums and memorials that sometimes take on a life of their own. Hear the tale of the Black Angel that haunts a cemetery and the true story of Mercy Brown and the New England vampire panic of the 1800s, which resulted in family members accusing each other of slowly consuming the lives of their loved ones from beyond the grave.

Bennington Museum presents a screening of ‘Vermont’s Only Witch Trial: New England Legends’
Bennington, Vt.— On Sunday, October 27th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Bennington Museum presents “Vermont’s Only Witch Trial: New England Legends.”
In the 1780s, the widow Margaret Krieger became the only person to be tried for witchcraft in Vermont. Her trial took place in nearby Pownal and is documented in this soon-to-be-released episode of New England Legends, the Emmy® nominated independent series on Amazon Prime. New England Legends is produced and directed by Tony Dunne, who will introduce the short film and share the story of Widow Krieger, along with Joyce Held of the Pownal Historical Society and Jamie Franklin of Bennington Museum.

Tony Dunne is an Emmy® Award-winning producer, documentary filmmaker, and journalist who has worked in both public and commercial media for over two decades. Tony currently serves as Director of Content for New England Public Media, overseeing various productions. As an independent producer, he co-created the award-winning New England Legends television series in 2013 with author Jeff Belanger, airing on select PBS stations throughout New England and streams on Amazon Prime.

Pittsfield— On Friday, October 25th at 7:30 p.m., Berkshire Theatre Group presents “Rock & Roll Graveyard,” a Halloween tribute concert at The Colonial Theatre.
Get ready for an unforgettable Halloween tribute concert where local musicians channel the spirits of rock ‘n’ roll legends for a night of electrifying performances conjuring up the greatest hits from iconic artists.

Shake your bones and dance the night away with Mike Wartella (The Wall, Wicked) as Freddie Mercury, Ed Moran (Moondance, Takin’ it to The Streets) as Elvis & Jim Morrison, Lee-Ann Lovelace (Guinevere, Back to The Garden) as Janis Joplin, David Frankel (Shakedown) as Jerry Garcia, and Jeramy Walz (Dead Man’s Waltz) as Stevie Ray Vaughan, backed by a live band of graveyard demons. There will also be a special appearance by the BTG Youth Troupe to perform the iconic “Thriller” dance by Michael Jackson.

WRRS 104.3 LPFM and Barnes and Noble present a family Halloween event
Pittsfield— On Sunday, October 27th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., WRRS 104.3 LPFM, in collaboration with Barnes and Noble, presents a fantastic new family event to celebrate Halloween.
Attendees are invited to read aloud their favorite Halloween books. The readings will be recorded for a special broadcast on Halloween on WRRS 104.3 LPFM. In addition, there will be store-wide trick-or-treating, a wide selection of Halloween books on display, and attendees in costume will be entered into a raffle with an exciting prize.

Halloween at the Springfield Museums
Springfield— On Saturday, October 26th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Springfield Museums presents Halloween at the Museums.
Explore the grounds of the Museums and discover different ways to celebrate art, science, and Halloween in captivating, imaginative ways. Activities include face painting, make-your-own trick-or-treat bags, giant bubbles, a ghost finger puppet craft, and trick-or-treating. Costumes are encouraged.

Stockbridge Truck-or-Treat, Halloween parade, and pumpkin walk-about
Stockbridge— On Friday, October 25th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Stockbridge Truck-or-Treat, Halloween parade, and pumpkin walk-about will take place.
At 5 p.m., there will be a Trunk-or-Treat at Heaton Court, located at 5 Pine Street. At 6 p.m., the Halloween parade will march up Main Street to the front lawn of the Stockbridge Library for cider, donuts, and the pumpkin walk-about with lighted pumpkins carved by local businesses and area children. The town fire truck will be stationed for discovery and there will be a sheep petting pen on the front lawn. At 6:30 p.m, there will be a Halloween story time and crafts inside the library.

The event is on Friday, October 25th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Stockbridge. In case of rain the parade is cancelled. Trunk or Treat will take place in the community room at Heaton Court and in the Library. Stockbridge Trick-or-Treating will take place on Halloween, Thursday, October 31st from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
