Andrew Blechman is a former Great Barrington selectman and member of the Finance Committee. He is the author of two nationally reviewed books for Grove Atlantic, and has written for the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Smithsonian magazine, The Atlantic, among other publications. His pup, Gingersnap, a wolverine-honey badger mix, is perfect in every way.+

Conrad Hanson


Conrad Hanson is a resident of the nearby Hudson Valley. His life-long passion for history and architecture has manifested itself in a number of different arenas, as writer, nonprofit executive and real estate agent. More stories and photography on his favorite subjects — architecture, gardens and arenas — can be found on his blog or his Instagram account+

Phil Holland


Phil Holland is a writer from Pownal, Vermont. He’s the author of books on Vermont history, including "A Guide to the Battle of Bennington and the Bennington Monument." He is a contributor to the Berkshire Edge Magazine.+

Amy Krzanik


A freelance writer and editor based in Adams, Mass., Amy most recently served as Rural Intelligence's assistant editor and frequent gala-goer. She earned her BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College in Boston.+


Rosemary A. Baumann

Advertising Director

Rose Baumann serves The Berkshire Edge as Advertising Director and works with many of the advertisers in this magazine. Born and raised in Great Barrington, she has worn many hats here, including realtor at Wheeler & Taylor, restaurant manager at The Old Mill Restaurant, ad salesperson at the Shopper’s Guide and owner of Rose’s Antique Shop. She is proud to have raised three beautiful and successful daughters.+

Kelly Cade

Art Director

Kelly Cade is a freelance graphic designer. A native of the Adirondack foothills, she is now a 20-year resident of the Berkshires. When not in front of her computer, she enjoys photography, road biking, and all things Berkshires! Kelly lives in Great Barrington with her husband, daughter, and kitty Shadow.+

James (Jim) Gibbons

Vice President, Business Development

Jim Gibbons guides The Berkshire Edge in market and product development. He has served in virtually every role imaginable in the publishing industry, starting as a news reporter, photographer and editor for community newspapers; moving on to sales and general management roles with newspaper companies; and eventually owning and operating multi-media companies that specialized in niche print and digital publications and marketing solutions for communities throughout the northeast.+

Leslie Noyes

Creative Director

Leslie Noyes is a marketing and design consultant from Southern Vermont who specializes in e-commerce and editorial design. She began her career in New York City where she worked with the Muppets, AT&T Bell Laboratories, Newsweek, and Ms. Magazine, among others. Since leaving the city, her clients have included Bennington College, Middlebury College, the Vermont Country Store, Bennington Potters and the Milken Institute, as well as many nonprofits and publishers within the region and throughout the United States.+

Nicole Robbins

Administrative Assistant

Nicole Robbins serves The Edge as administrator, and has her hands in almost all aspects of Edge activities. A Brooklyn native, she has lived in the Berkshires for some 20+ years and has raised two sons here. She has served a number of organizations, including Community Health Programs (CHP, in administrative and financial capacities.+

Marcie L. Setlow


Marcie Setlow has served as publisher of The Berkshire Edge since she founded it with David Scribner in 2014. She came to The Edge after a career of developing, selling and managing media projects for PBS and cable television. She traces her career in journalism back to her position at her high school newspaper at James Hillhouse High School in New Haven, Connecticut. As a community leader, Marcie served as president of New York Women in Film & Television. In the Berkshires, she is president of the chamber music series Close Encounters With Music and board member of the Berkshire Playwrights Lab.+
