Berkshire DA’s office identifies North Adams homicide victim

PITTSFIELD — The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed on Tuesday that Jillian (Tatro) Rosado, 38, of Cheshire was murdered, according to a written statement released today from the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office. The State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Berkshire DA’s Office is continuing its investigation into the homicide on Charles Street in North Adams.

North Adams Police and Northern Berkshire Emergency Medical Services responded to a residence after receiving a 911 call at approximately 7:54 p.m. Sunday. EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Berkshire District Attorney Andrea Harrington, Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office, Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services, and forensic scientists from the Massachusetts State Police Crime Lab also responded to the scene.
