Berkshire Children’s Chorus announces free online workshop

"Play," a free theater and improv workshop, will be taught by comedic actor and Berkshire Children's Chorus alumna Madeleine Maggio. 

On Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 5:30 p.m., the Berkshire Children’s Chorus invites all interested middle and high school students to “Play,” a free online workshop taught by comedic actor and Berkshire Children’s Chorus alumna Madeleine Maggio.

The workshop will foster teamwork and creative thinking through theater and improv games. No previous theater experience is required, and the event will be enjoyable for students with diverse interests. The event is free of charge and open to all middle and high school students in the Tri-state Berkshire region.

Special guest Madeleine Maggio is a 2008 graduate of Mount Everett High School and alumna of Berkshire Children’s Chorus. She holds a B.A. in Theater from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and completed a two-year program at the Jacques Lecoq International School of Theater in Paris. She is currently working as an Education Artist at Shakespeare & Company.
