Currently a resident of the Berkshires, Zazu Galdós-Shapiro grew up traveling between her native Mexico and northern New Jersey, a habit that fostered her love of language and reading books long enough to last a whole plane ride. She is a graduate of Bard College at Simon's Rock, where she studied linguistics and German studies. She works as a book buyer and manager at the local independent bookstore, The Bookloft.
