Virginia Bradley

Virginia Bradley is a contemporary abstract painter who resides in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Alchemy and the performative aspects of painting are the basis of Bradley’s practice. Environmental issues surrounding climate change have also been formative in the development of her work. Virginia has received several fellowships, including the 2023 Martha Boschen Taconic Foundation, 2020 Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship, the McKnight Foundation Fellowship, an Arts Midwest NEA Fellowship and two Minnesota State Arts Board Fellowships. She has been a fellow at Acme Studios in East London, Zoological Society of London, Yaddo, Sanskriti Kendra, Fundacion Valparaiso, Ragdale and the Virginia Center of Creative Arts. Bradley’s work has been exhibited widely throughout the world. Virginia bases her studio practice in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Previously she was a Professor of Art at the University of Delaware.
