Tristan Alston

Tristan Alston, a summer volunteer at the Berkshire Center for Justice, is a rising sophomore at Swarthmore College, where his focus has been Peace and Conflict Studies, Environmental Studies, and Spanish. He is a peer mentor in the Writing Associates Program and, in addition to his wildlife photography and photojournalism, works as a photographer on campus. He is also a member of the Varsity Track & Field team. He aspires to continue on to a graduate degree program, and is considering law school. Tristan hopes to address matters of environmental justice, structural and racial violence, and to contribute to both domestic and international peace building efforts.
