Nat Benchley has been a freelance actor/writer since 1978, capping his career with a replication of his grandfather Robert’s famous character, the Society Drunk, as the perpetually pickled Det. Augie Polk in HBO’s highly acclaimed series “The Wire.” Nat and his wife Kathy have loved living in Sharon, CT, since 2006.
