Thursday, 3 Jan 2019 - The Family Birthplace at Fairview Hospital welcomed the first baby born in Berkshire County in 2019. Abigail Grace Lennon was born Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 11:40 a.m. to Katelyn and Mike Lennon of Becket. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. She was delivered by certified nurse midwife Lisa Chism-Fraine.

Thursday, 3 Jan 2019 - Mr. Hood owned and operated the Cold Spring Dairy Farm, eventually turning it into the Cold Spring Campground, which he operated for many years.
