At last: The new Fuel Coffeeshop has opened

New head chef Alex Brink has revamped the food menu, and will further expand it, Fuel co-owner Will Curletti said. But don’t worry -- one can still get a McGuido.

Great Barrington — It was a “soft” opening for the new Fuel Coffee Shop Sunday morning (September 18), according to owner Will Curletti, who owns the shop and restaurant with his wife Robyn. Fuel has moved to a new location at 293 Main St., across the street from its former location next to Baba Louie’s.

For the past month, much to the distress of the many Fuel aficionados, the old Fuel coffeeshop has been closed while the new location was being renovated. New head chef Alex Brink has revamped the food menu, and will further expand it, Curletti said. But don’t worry — one can still get a McGuido. The shop’s new hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more coverage of the new Fuel.
