Ashamed of Gov. Baker’s policy toward Syrian refugees

In his letter to the editor, David Harris writes: "I hope our fair-minded citizens will let Gov. Baker know we find unacceptable... his refusal to offer refuge.

To the Editor:

I am ashamed to read Governor Baker has taken the position that Massachusetts will not welcome Syrian refugees after the Paris attacks. I hope our fair-minded citizens will let him know we find this unacceptable and contrary to the values we in Massachusetts hold dear.  If readers agree, I urge them to sign a petition I have created to the Governor at the following link:  https://petitions.moveon.org/sign/governor-baker-welcome?source=c.fwd&r_by=12692441
