Armed robbery of NBT Bank in Pittsfield

The suspect entered the bank, displayed a firearm and demanded cash.

Pittsfield — On Wednesday November 29th, at approximately 5 p.m. members of the Pittsfield Police Department (PPD) responded to NBT Bank located at 609 Merrill Road for a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect entered the bank, displayed a firearm and demanded cash. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in an unknown direction. The suspect is believed to be a white male. No injuries were reported.
