Anne Iemolini, 95, of Stockbridge

Anne worked for many years as a secretary for the Marian Fathers in Stockbridge.

Anne Pauline Ruesch Iemolini, 95, of Stockbridge passed away peacefully Aug, 8, 2018, at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington. Born May 21, 1923, she was adopted by Paul Ruesch of Austerlitz, New York, and Ellen Ryan of Limerick, Ireland. She was raised in Stockbridge, graduated from Williams High School and then attended Pittsfield Secretarial School. Anne worked for many years as a secretary for the Marian Fathers in Stockbridge. She studied voice with Professor Barrett and was a member of the St. Joseph’s Church choir. She also performed in area musicals and performances.

Anne was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Julius “Toots” Iemolini. She is survived by her daughters Christine Congdon and husband Richard, Gail Heady and husband Merritt, and Linda Jennings and husband Craig; as well as her sons Richard Iemolini and wife Teresa, and Lawrence Iemolini and wife Annette. She was lovingly known as “Nonni” to her eight grandchildren and was “Great Nonni” to her eight great-grandchildren. Anne was especially fond of her sister Mary Galisa who predeceased her.

A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Stockbridge with burial immediately following in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Brightside for Families and Children in care of Finnerty & Stevens, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA. 01230 who is in charge of arrangements. A service to celebrate the life of Gege Kingston will be held in Stockbridge at the First Congregational Church, UCC, on Saturday, April 5, at 2 p.m. A reception will follow in the church's Johnathan Edwards room.

Friends and family are welcome to gather on Friday, March 21, at 1 p.m., at the Monterey UCC Church, for a memorial. Afterwards, a reception will be held at the Monterey Community Center, from about 2 to 4 p.m., to spend some time together.
