Angeline M. Baldauf, 98, of Great Barrington  

Angeline attended Sheffield schools. After school she worked for Monument Mills from 1941-1952 and then at Rising Paper Co. in Housatonic as a paper sorter for 23 years before retiring in 1978.

Angeline M. Baldauf, 98 of Great Barrington died March 20, 2015 at Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Sheffield on June 22, 1916, daughter to Antonio and Antoinia (Sebben) Marcon.

Angeline attended Sheffield schools. After school she worked for Monument Mills from 1941-1952 and then at Rising Paper Co. in Housatonic as a paper sorter for 23 years before retiring in 1978.

Angeline was a communicant of Saint Peter’s Church and a member of the Rosary Sodality. She took care of stray animals cats and dogs and enjoyed flowers and sewing.

Angeline’s husband Joseph Baldauf, whom she married on October 31, 1936 in Saint Peter’s Church, predeceased her on November 11, 1986. Angeline is survived by one sister, Helena Jennings of West Stockbridge, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, among them her niece and caregiver Sandra Kleiner. In addition to her husband Joseph, Angeline is predeceased by two brothers, John and Louis Marcon and three sisters, Mary Pirotto, Pauline Marchetto, Laura Ebitz and Grace Grazie.

Funeral services for Angeline M. Baldauf who died March 20, will be held on Thursday March 26, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 .m. at St. Peter’s Church with the Rev. William P. Murphy, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday March 25 from 4 to 6 p.m., at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, Mass. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Angeline’s memory may be made to the St. Peter’s Church Restoration Fund or to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. Virginia ‘Ginny’ Cables, 81, of Canaan, Conn.

Robert ‘Bob’ Hebert, 89, of Monterey

Bob won over 100 races in his career. He was voted SVRA Driver of the Year. He was inducted into the Road Racing Drivers Club, along with such others as Mario Andretti and Stirling Moss. Today, two of Bob’s four grandchildren continue his racing legacy.

Christopher Riddle, 74, of Marlboro, Vt.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at 1 p.m., at Elmwood Cemetery in Great Barrington, conducted by Rev. William P. Murphy.
