Allan W. Leslie, 85, formerly of Lenox

The funeral of Mr. Allan W. Leslie will be conducted Saturday, April 13, at 1 p.m., at the Roche Funeral Home, with Rev. Joel Bergenland, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, officiating. A calling hour will precede the service from 12 to 1 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.

Allan W. Leslie, 85, a former resident of Lenox for more than 30 years, died March 15 at his home in California, where he had resided since 1991.

Mr. Leslie worked for General Electric Co. from 1956 to 1991 and later Lockheed Martin-Armed Forces Radio and Television from 1992 to 2003. While raising his family in Lenox, he was chairman of the Lenox School Committee for many years, was on the Democratic Town Committee, the local Kiwanis Club, and was an avid Ham Radio Operator throughout his life.

Mr. Leslie is survived by his wife Sara Leslie; his daughters, Kristina Marian (Doug), Beth Chague (Joseph), and Wendy Landreth (Kevin); his niece Kim Noonan (Ed); five grandchildren, Michael Chague (Carly), Allen Chague, Tommy Rice, Kelly Lauritch-Kullas, and Caitlin Landreth; two great-grandchildren, Wells Allen Chague and Anna Kullas; three stepchildren, Debbie Ybarra (Walt), Shari Wilkerson (Troy), and Dan Bushey; and seven step-grandchildren, Jamie Fiely, Dallas Aguilar, Shay Ybaarra, Dominique Anderson, Ian Wilkerson, Brett, and Jennifer Bushey. Allan was pre-deceased by his parents, Brunswick and Lillian Leslie, and his first wife Patricia Leslie.

The funeral of Mr. Allan W. Leslie will be conducted Saturday, April 13, at 1 p.m., at the Roche Funeral Home, with Rev. Joel Bergenland, Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, officiating. A calling hour will precede the service from 12 to 1 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.
