News and Ideas Worth Sharing

A step toward healing in Sheffield

We know that healing happens best in community and community happens best around a meal.

A message and invitation from Pastor Erik Karas, pastor of the Christ Trinity Church in Sheffield:

Friends,

Sheffield has been rocked by twin tragedies in this past week.  Pastor Jill Graham and I are putting together a time for community prayer and time to share a meal this Saturday, March 16, at Old Parish Church at 125 Main Street in Sheffield.

We know that healing happens best in community and community happens best around a meal. We invite everyone in Sheffield to join us for a time of interfaith prayer, a healing meal, and a time to share with one another how the events of this past week have impacted or lives.

The time for interfaith prayer will happen at 5 p.m. and a potluck meal will follow at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Please pass this information on to everyone you know so they, too, have this opportunity to take a step toward healing through prayer and a meal.

Peace,

Pastor Erik
