A response to Denny Alsop’s Letter to the Editor

Sadly, this is just the latest example of the lies and distortions that the small group of opponents of a well-planned project that will benefit every single taxpayer in Stockbridge will go to with their opposition.

To the editor:

After reading Denny Alsop’s Letter to the Editor regarding the Stockbridge town water supply and how the Select Board is making a huge mistake in even considering the project at 37 Interlaken, I contacted Michael Buffoni, the water superintendent for the town.

He responded, “Geez, I’ve never ever seen that letter.”

Sadly, this is just the latest example of the lies and distortions that the small group of opponents of a well-planned project that will benefit every single taxpayer in Stockbridge will go to with their opposition.

The Select Board is not “rushing into” anything with this project. It was first proposed back in 2017–18.

The taxpayers need 37 Interlaken to be approved so construction can begin.
