A. Peter Kulberg, 73, of Lenox

A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Grace Church Congregational, and a committal will be held in the spring on Hampton Beach.

A. Peter Kulberg, 73, of Lenox, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 5, with his family surrounding him with their love at his home. He was born on December 28, 1951, in Woburn, Mass., to Marshall and Ruth (neé Killam) Kulberg and went to Winnacunnet High School in New Hampshire.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Arts from Berkshire Christian College and a Master of Arts in Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary. He served for a time as a pastor, then worked as an electrician. As a man of faith who wrestled with eternal things, he was a member of Grace Church Congregational and New Life Community Church.

Peter married JoAnn (neé Farrington) on December 27, 1972, in St. Johnsbury, Vt.—and she was never bored again. In their 1900s house, he constantly renovated and rebuilt rooms, even moving doors so that friends had to be notified where to enter. He enjoyed good music, hiking, camping, reading, and following the successes of his beloved daughters, whose creativity he shared and nurtured.

The family who misses him includes his wife JoAnn of Lenox; his daughters and sons-in-law, Sørina and Gary Higgins of South New Berlin, N.Y., Nadine and Jingwei He of Renton, Wash., and Eve and Ciprian Droma of Blandford, Mass.; his grandchildren, Arame, Fiorinna, Giosue, and AiLin; his sister Kristina Kulberg of Prague, Czech Republic; and his brother and sister-in-law, John and Karen Kulberg of Hampton, N.H.
