Pamela A. Ptak Bailey, 63, of Housatonic died Sunday, Aug. 13, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Great Barrington on Feb. 25, 1954, the daughter of Doris (Fuller) Ptak and the late Frank J. Ptak Sr. Pamela was a graduate of the Monument Mountain Regional High School class of 1972. She worked for 25 years as an office manager at G.A. Blanco and after at Berkshire Mountain Bakery. Pamela enjoyed decorating her home, going to tag sales and filling her house with wild flowers. She was an animal lover and sewed for her home and family. Pamela is survived by her mother, Doris (Fuller) Ptak; two sons, Roger Bailey Jr. and Eric Bailey; two sisters, Terry Ptak and her twin, Deborah Ptak; three grandsons; former husband Roger Bailey Sr.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Frank J. Ptak Sr., Pamela was predeceased by brother Frank J. Ptak Jr. and sister Alesia Marie Ptak, both from cystic fibrosis.

Funeral services for Pamela A. Ptak Bailey will be held Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. at Blessed Theresa of Calcutta Church Corpus Christi Parish in Housatonic with Pastor William P. Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to either Cystic Fibrosis or HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
