The move by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III to investigate Trump’s conduct marks a major turning point in the nearly year-old FBI investigation, which until recently focused on Russian meddling during the presidential campaign and on whether there was any coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.

Apparently Orange Alert does not like the FIRST AMENDMENT? Why? Perhaps they can not defend their views?

    1. Carl Stewart says:

      Patrick—

I’m confused by your comment. What is the 1st Amendment issue here? No one, not even the President, may assert a 1st Amendment defense to a charge of obstruction of justice.

      Best wishes,

      Carl (Stewart)

I’d didn’t make sense to me either, my guess would be he had another comment deleted, which seems to happen from time to time on the Edge – especially when opinions stated are contrary to the article presented

When a few of us moderates dispute Orange Alert we are deleted. Apparently opposing views are not allow. Have a nice day yourself Carl.

  2. Steve Farina says:

How does one obstruct an investigation into something that didn’t happen (don’t kid yourself – if there was anything to this “Russian collusion” crap you would have seen more than trashy leaks to the media by now)? And what was the supposed influence…oh yeah, someone’s emails got leaked and it showed Hillary’s true character, then not enough people voted for her and she LOST the election…boo hooo

What a huge waste of taxpayer debt! And the spending has just begun as a whole crew of clowns (lawyers ) have been hired for this Circus.

What I appreciate in the comments is the absence of vulgarity, the commentators’ respect for each other, the lack of snarky attitude and that their discourse is on a serious factual level. Steve Farina’s comment is an exemplar of this, and I am sure all our readers applaud his perceptive contributions.

      1. Steve Farina says:

Thank you George. We don’t all agree on everything, yet if we can treat each other with respect then perhaps we can work through some of the issues we actually have an opportunity to effect change on.
