Great Barrington – Twenty-four years ago, Geoff Young opened his first art gallery. The artist Morgan Bulkeley had told Young that he had a 24 by 48 foot storage area. “Why don’t you open an gallery,” Bulkeley had suggested.

He did. Since then, Young has exhibited some of the most cutting edge artists of our time.

This Saturday (June 14), Young hosts the opening of “Casheesh,” an exhibit of 37 artists that includes, among others, the work of his friend Morgan Bulkeley, at his gallery, 40 Railroad St., in Great Barrington.

Hi Geoff, we have never met but sometimes you leak out of Russell transmissions.
I met Russell in 1959 in high school and we still talk and email. We would not see each other for two years or so (esp. when I was in
Korea and he was at UCSB.) You could say we were worlds apart. I once described him as the funniest person I know
who is not famous . I may get to G. Barrington and your gallery because my sister lives in Syracuse. Much good fortune to you your interesting gallery. P
